Congratulations to Former Tiger Muay Thai and MMA, training camp, Phuket, Thailand alumni and Purdue wrestling team captain Nate Moore on another impressive performance for the prestigious Strikeforce MMA Event this weekend.

Nate finished the fight early in the second round when he KO’d Team Quest product Nathan Coy in just 25 seconds. The bout was streamed on Sherdog.com and was a featured undercard fight for the Nick Diaz Vs. Cyborg event held at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.

Taking Coy’s back in the first round, Moore showed great control early before having position reversed by a front headlock. Nate Moore–a recent Nogi Mundial medalist in BJJ attacked with a Kimura as Coy defended with some Ground and Pound as the round came to a close.

Landing a huge right hand to start round 2, Nate Moore improved his record to 7-2 proving that the American Kickboxing Academy welterweight is one of the top up and coming welterweights in Strikeforce.
