UFC Fighter and Tiger Muay Thai team member, Mairbek Taisumov, returns to the cage in his third UFC appearance. Following an impressive TKO against Marcin Bandel back in Octobers UFC Fight Night, Mairbek is ready for his next challenge against Anthony Christodoulou in Stolkholm Sweden January 24th 2015 at the Tele 2 Arena.
Taisumov (22-5) made his UFC debut at the beginning of the year and has won two of his three fights in the promotion. He is coming off a TKO win at UFC Fight Night 53 against Marcin Bandel and he has won five of his last six fights.
Taisumov also has an impressive list of accomplishments ranging from BJJ Champion in Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic. As well as several tournaments in Central Europe in BJJ, wrestling and boxing. M-1 Champion Western Europe and Grappling NAGA belt in Monaco.
Christodoulou (12-4) is currently on a seven fight winning streak and his last two wins have come by unanimous decision. Eight of his twelve wins have come by stoppage and six of those have come in the first round.
