National Muay Thai Day Blessing @ Tiger Muay Thai, Phuket, ThailandTiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand will host a Buddhist Blessing and ceremenony on Wednesday, March 17th, 2010 to celebrate and honor National Muay Thai Day.

Held on “The Father of Muay Thai”, Nai Khanom Thom’s Birthday, National Muay Thai Day is a day to honor the National Sport of Thailand and the trainers and camp that teach Muay Thai in Thailand.

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp guests are welcome to join the ceremony which wil start around 7:30 a.m. (or when the monks arrive). There will be a “string and water” ceremony blessing in which guests can participate and then the monks will be served and fed.

Once the monks have finished eating, guests are welcome to join the trainers and staff of Tiger Muay Thai for a Thai breakfast.

Training will resume that afternoon.
