Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand guests and staffs heard the call when TMT put out the word for help for TMT guest Jonathan Chan who was injured in a MMA fight in Australia.

Jonathan was kicked in the head and suffered a severe skull fracture requiring him to be rushed to the hospital for operation and a steel plate inserted over the damaged part of his skull.

Many TMT guests will remember Jonathan from his Amateur MMA fight at TMT where he scored a KO during a BBQ beatdown MMA fight.

With the help of head MMA coach Ray Elbe and TMT staff, we put out the call on our websites and Facebook for a donation fund on paypal and a raffle to be held during BBQ Beatdown 27 on July 31st.

Tickets for donations could be purchased with prizes gifted by trainers, staff, and patrons of TMT, like signed gloves by Muhsin Corbbrey (Strikeforce MMA fighter), free one-on-one MMA lessons from TMT trainers, a weeks free training, and a specialty prize a Korean Zombie T-shirt from TMT patron Brian Rhee.

Special Thanks goes out to the MANY guests that participated in the raffle for Jonathan including Dave Davies, Andy Henry, Phil and Sharon Sayers, Adam Underhill, Lisbeth Nillson, and alex Bijlsma who donated on paypal and all the oth guests that filled the raffle box at the TMT restaurant.

Tiger Muay Thai is happy to announce we collected 23, 279 baht for Jonathan and will be sending it to him asap to help pay for his medical and recovery bills.

Tiger Muay Thai training camp and TMT staff would like to thank all of the guests that helped by giving what they could to a fine young man that deserved help.

Special Thanks to Fay Elbe who kickstarted the plan for the raffle for Jonathan and helped raffle off the gifts during BBQ Beatdown 27.
