Dorian Price moved out to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand for an opportunity to compete at a high level as a professional fighter. Already a veteran of the UFC, and having had over 20 professional Muay Thai fights in the states, he picked Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket as the top school for him to train at, because of our reputation for excellence.

Coming off of a 15 month layoff, Dorian Price took a tough fight when he agreed to compete at the ‘Matter of Pride’ event held at the Resorts World in Manila Philippines. Fighting for a World Sanda Championship, Dorian competed in a 4 man tournament featuring Australian-Pinoy standout Michael Badata, Chinese Superstar Lu Jian Tsao, and Korean K-1 Max veteran K-max.

Drawing the tournament favorite Lu Jian Tsao in the first round, Dorian came out aggressive–making it an entertaining fight for the fans. During a flurry of punches Price was clipped by the former World Sanda Champion, forcing the ref to give Lu Jian Tsao the TKO victory. All things considered, it was a good showing for Dorian Price, who showed a bit of ring rust stepping into the ring against Elite competition. Already scheduled to fight Muay Thai at Bangla Stadium later this month, Dorian Price will again be on the road when he fights in a modified MMA bout in Beijing China July 22nd.
