The women of Invicta FC are back and Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp Phuket, Thailand are once again represented with alumni Sarah “The Monster” D’Alelio and Leslie “The Peacemaker” Smith both looking for victories on January 5 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.

The Invicta FC 4 card will pit D’alelio (6-3) against up-and-coming Brazilian fighter Amanda Nunes (7-2). D’Alelio is coming off a late second-round loss at the hands of Shayna Baszler at Invicta FC 3 while Nunes put away Raquel Pa’aluhi in her Invicta FC debut just five months ago. Both women are Strikeforce veterans with D’Alelio having already competed against top competition, including a fight against Vanessa Porto and the first women fighter signed by the UFC in Ronda Rousey.

“The Monster” was last at TMT in January of 2012 when she came to train with fellow Invicta FC fighter Elaina Maxwell.

Fellow alumnus and Bellator veteran Leslie Smith (4-2-1) will fight against Raquel “Rocky” Pennington (3-2), who is coming off a loss against fellow TMT alumnus Cat Zingano (7-0). Smith’s last fight in the octagon saw her defeat Kaitlin Young via TKO in the second-round, which you could watch below.
