The feature article by certified Muay Thai referee Tony Meyers gives a great description on how a Muay Thai / Thai boxing fight is judged. Meyers covers all the points from knees and kicks worth more than punches, to aggression, effectiveness, throws, and the importance of not showing fear or being hurt, and of course the importance of the final three round of the Muay Thai fight.
Also in this month’s issue of MTP Magazine is an article on Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp’s Claire Haigh who recently won a 2nd round submission victory in an MMA fight on Gold Coast, Australia over 8-time Muay Thai Champion Angie Parr.
