Returning guest and current UFC fighter Jake Shields is back at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp Phuket, Thailand today.

The former Shooto champion and Strikeforce Middleweight champion will train with some of his former Muay Thai trainers, including Kru Yod who helped train Georges St. Pierre for his bout last month.

Shields (27-6) is noted for being a champion in several promotions and having a six-year, 15-fight win streak. He was last at Tiger Muay Thai in April 2011, preparing for the Welterweight title fight against GSP.

As one of the top grapplers in the world, Shields is expected to take advantage of TMT’s newly revamped MMA program that includes fellow UFC fighter Brian Ebersole and UFC vet Roger Huerta as well as 4th degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Fernando Maccachero. Tiger Muay Thai is very pleased to extend a huge welcome to Jake!
