Tiger Muay Thai Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi/NoGi Classes
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand will now be offering BJJ Gi classes on Monday-Wednesday-Fridays from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m in the evening when it is a little cooler for working in the Gi.
The head instructor for the Gi program is MMA / Thai fighter Raphael Lopes Pinto.
Rafael Lopes Pinto is a brown belt under Lattuf Kezen. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At age 13 he moved to Recife. There he started his martial arts training.
Rafael trained Judo, boxing, capoerira and kickboxing until he found his true love, bjj. Rafael has been training bjj for the last 8 years. He started in mma at 21 years of age and has a record of 5-0. Two wins came by way of submission, two by points and one by knock out.
NOTE: Wearing a Gi during this class is optional. For those who doesn’t have a Gi or just think it’s to hot to train in one Rafael will focus on No-Gi Jiu Jitsu.
