It was tough night of decisions point losses in what was described as” two closest fights of the night” as Claire (Tiger Muay Thai, Phuket, Thailand) battled the World’s #1 ranked fighter in Julie Kitchen. Claire showed her Thai boxing skills: superior speed and, boxing, and kicking scoring on Kitchen early and often, but in the clinch, the 7 inch taller Kitchen scored well. It was a tough fight and the promoters had already agreed, no matter who won, there would be a rematch, next time most likely in U.K.

Cyrus (Tiger Muay Thai, Phuket, Thailand), having his opponent changed again with 24 hours of the fight, merely shrugged off the change and came out firing and scoring and showing his fans that he has a vastly improved Thai boxing clinch. Cyrus easily controlled the early rounds and the 5th round was a war. At the end of the fight, it looked as if Cyrus had done enough to win on points but judges called it a points loss. No matter it was a great fight and all fighters were fighting in honor of the King of Thailand and honored to be a part of the event.
