Zuffa LLC, the owners of the UFC, announced this week that Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp Phuket, Thailand alum Cyrille Diabate (18-8-1) will take on Chad Griggs (11-2) at UFC 154: St. Pierre vs Condit in Montreal this November 17.

Diabate, 39, was originally scheduled to fight Fabio Maldonado in that event but after Quinton “Rampage” Jackson got hurt before his fight with Glover Teixeira at UFC 153, Maldonado was called to replace him.

Griggs, 34, will be fighting at light heavyweight for the first time since losing against Travis Browne in the first round at UFC 145 in April.

The Frenchman trained at TMT in early 2011 to prepare for his tough fight against Steve Cantwell at UFC Live 3, where he won by decision. He was also a coach for Dan Henderson’s team in The Ultimate Fighter season 9.
