Yasubey Enomoto is a multiple time Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand Alumni. A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt and co-owner of the Enomoto Dojo in Switzerland with his older brother Felipe. Yasubey, fought over the NYE weekend in Tokyo Japan for the very prestigious Sengoku Mixed Martial Arts promotion.

The event was shown on live TV and was the finals of an 8 man Welterweight tournament that featured some of the top names in MMA not currently signed to a UFC contract. After defeating Sanae Kikuta, Kenta Takagi, and Taisuke Okuno during previous Sengoku events, Yasubey was a slight favorite heading into his bout despite the fact that Keita ‘K-Taro’ Nakamura is a 30+ Fight Veteran with UFC experience and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt on his resume.

In a good display of Grappling, Yasubey was able to utilize a rubber guard for most of the first round that limited K-Taro’s world class grappling abilities. Suffering a disappointing 2nd round RNC, Yasubey still ended 2010 with a 3-1 record in the Sengoku Organization, which earned him a 3 fight extension with the prestigious Japanese organization.

Yasubey Enomoto will be at Tiger Muay Thai for the next month as he continues looking to improve his Muay Thai. Joining Enomoto as VIP Guest for January 2011 is UFC and Bellator Veteran Roger Huerta.
