French Combat Sports Legend Cyrille Diabate has been re-introducing himself to Main Stream fight fans.
After being featured on the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter Season 9 as a striking coach for Dan Henderson’s Team USA, Diabate signed a multiple fight contract with the promotion. Defeating Luis Cane via KO in his first bout, the promotion matched him up against the aggressive striker Steven Cantwell.
Winning a Unanimous decision after 3 rounds, Diabate was so impressive in his dominance that one of the judges scored the bout 30-25.
Look for Cyrille to return to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand in the future with several more of his fighters.
