Russian action & TV star, Sergey Badyuk Visits TMT
Russian action and TV star, Sergey Badyuk, recently visited Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training Camp Phuket, Thailand to work on a new film. Badyuk’s new project focuses on Russian Muay Thai and mixed martial arts(MMA) fighters training at the Tiger Muay Thai camp.
Badyuk worked with the Russian members of Tiger Muay Thai’s fight team including Mairbek Taisumov and Zubayra Tukhugov who have both just been signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship(UFC) and a top Muay Thai prospect in Grigory Popov.
Badyuk is mostly known for his TV work throughout Russia and movies:
Brigada: Naslednik (2012), Mamy (2012) and Solovey-Razboynik.

Mairbek Taisumov – Майрбек Тайсумов
After finishing his contract with M-1 Global, Mairbek is preparing for his UFC debut, that takes place in Singapore, 4 Jan. Born in Chechnya, 08 August 1988. He left Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, when he was 15 yo, after the death of his father to join his elder brother in Austria. At school he was interested in football and didn’t pay any attention to wrestling or any other martial arts. Friends in Vienna got him into BJJ and that’s where it all started. Later he made transition to MMA. Now he lives in Vienna, Austria and trains with Roger Huerta and Fernando Maccachero inThailand, at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA camp. Stats: 20 – 4 – 0
Zubayra Tukhugov – Зубайра Тухугов
Zubayra Tukhugov, from a small village of Tsentoroy in Chechnya ,is a professional MMA fighter with a record of 13-3 fighting out of Russia. Tukhogov has fought in numerous promotions including Cage Warriors, PRO FC and Battle at Moscow.Tukhugov recently came to Tiger Muay Thai
to prepare for his upcoming fight against Vaso Bakocevic in Battle at Moscow 13. It was his uncle Roman who brought him into sport. Role model in sports -Vitor Belfort.
He will fight Tiago Tavares in February at UFC Fight NIght36 in Brazil
