Looking for the knockout punch, Baroni struggled to keep the fight standing as Yoshida constantly attempted takedown after takedown. With former PRIDE FC referee Yuji Shimada calling the action–and refusing to stand the fighters back up, Baroni lost an unanimous decision after three rounds.
