Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Staff want to thank all the guests and friends of the camp that came to our 2nd annual Staff Christmas / New Year Party.
The days events started out with a football game and the party started @ 7:00 p.m. with a BBQ Chicken and Ham roast, gift exchange, and good times all-around. Thanks to getch and the refreshment bar for the Kegs of beer on tap and to Gai, Jeab, and Smai for all the work on the BBQ. More than 60 people showed up and was good to see some old friends. Izzy, longtime friend of TMT came by, and special guest, Ajarn Panya, author and Master Muay Thai instructor came by with his son and signed copies of his best selling Muay Thai book, "Pahayuth: Muay Thai." Last we heard, Kru Yod was on his 3rd BBQ Chicken and asking, "What is for dessert?" Getch was at it again with the fireworks! Did I hear someone say Pyro....? The gift exchange was a lot of fun and a big TMT "Thanks" to Razy Rey for all his help.

It was the TMT guests vs Trainers football game before the Staff / New Years Party on Dec 30, 2006. make no mistake about it, this was some serious football. The trainers took an early lead and seemed to be running away with the game and a halftime lead of 7-1, but the TMT guests were just getting started. After a halftime substitution, Ewan "The Boot" came in and sparked a comeback as the TMT guests reeled off 5 straight goals to bring it to 7-6, but the trainers held them off with some fancy passing and foot work from Kru Yod and Kru Rose and pulled out the win 8-6. Better luck next year, but a great time all-around.

Ngoo fought well and took the fight to the 5th round after nearly finishing his opponent in the 4th round. Tired in the 5th, the referee called the fight w/ 1 minute remaining.
Getch will be taking several guests on a holiday boat and camping trip to Coral Island the weekend of December 16-17. Guests will motor to Coral Island on Getch's cruiser and spend the night camping out on the tropical island and enjoying the beautiful water, diving and snorkling, and exploring the island.

It was a true "Southern" Thai BBQ @ the camp, Saturday night, as guests and friends of the camp joined in for a Chicken and Pork BBQ complete with a Fireworks display by Getch including a series of Thai-style hot-air flyers that soared off into the clear sky and full moon. It had been a busy week with guests and trainers with fights in Patong over last 3 days and a BBQ party on Saturday.
Thanks to all the nearly 50 guests and friends that attended the BBQ party.

Results: Em loses in 4th round stoppage by ref. // Prathet wins with 4th round KO

Results: The referee stopped the fight in the 4th round. Brennan looked good early showing control of technique and scoring with some good shots. But the Thai took over in rounds three and four.

TMT Guest Doug scored a points decision in his 3rd MT fight in Thailand last night, November 22, 2006. Doug was atisfied with his win, but admitted that fighting a southpaw took some adjusting. Solid technique won the fight. Doug trained hard for his fight with two-a-day training sessions.

Ngoo cannot finish after sprained ankle and ligaments and loses @ Bangla for first time in 5 fights.
It was TMT's and my pleasure to welcome world-reknowned Master Instructor of Muay Thai, best selling Author of Pahuyuth: Muay Thai: The Distinguished Art of Fighting, and officer of the Sport Authority of Thailand (S.A.T.), Ajarn Panya Kraitus to the camp yesterday. I have been in discussion with Ajarn Panya on advice on maintaining a camp that believes in the respected traditions of Muay Thai and the best ways to help instruct our guests. Ajarn Panya has worked with some of the best camps and foreign instructors in the world giving seminars and qualifying instructors in the Pahuyuth style of Muay Thai.
Will: "Ajarn Panya, welcome so much to our camp and let me thank you for all the advice you have already given me and for taking time out of your busy schedule to speak with our trainers and guests."
"After your tour of the camp and speaking with Ajarn Mac, our Master Instructor, and our other advanced instructors about our training program and facility, what do you think?"
Ajarn Panya: " Yes, this is very nice. Your student have good gym and place to train for Muay Thai. And now see you have for Ultimate Fighting as well. And fighter in this sport (MMA) must use to learn Muay Thai. Now can train together Muay Thai and ultimate fighting. I think very good."
Will: "MMA fighters from around the world come here to learn Muay Thai. They have a growing respect for Muay Thai as the best all-around style for stand-up striking. What do you think?"
Ajarn Panya: (smiling) "Muay Thai is best for fighting and is sport of my country. It is good to have respect for Muay Thai. For fighting in here (cage), must train real Muay Thai with good teacher/ instructor. Must learn how to use knee and use elbow. I watch fights on UBC now here in my home and hard to see fighter use good Muay Thai. Good leg kick and sometime knee, but not use elbow. Must use elbow and knee together and keep fighter (opponent) away." (Ajarn gets up quickly and does a quick demonstration) This good, but must learn Muay Thai correctly.
Will: "What does it take to be a good Muay Thai Instructor? After all you have worked with some of the best foreign instructors in the world."
Ajarn Panya: "I start Muay Thai when I (7) years. I give my whole life. My master (Supreme Master Ket Sriyapai) teach me and tell me pass on to my student. Now I must teach, but only those who are qualified and want to learn this. Now I have student in Holland, Canada, England, Mexico, and now even new in Ireland. These are camp/gym of my student and now are instructor. Instructor must have many fights. When 25 or 26 year and get older, must stop and work as trainer many year and very hard make good teacher / instructor."
Will: What is your oppinion of the state of Muay Thai today in Thailand and abroad?
Ajarn Panya: "Today very different than many year ago. And now many people look and come Thailand to train. I speak to my government many time about our Muay Thai in Thailand. This why I stop train here and go work with my student in other country after I write my book. Thai fighter not same before and have problem with gambling and money. Now sometime young fighter not have respect for Muay Thai and tradition or learn right way. Now have many people say they are World Champion. I say, Where you fight? Who you fight? They cannot say. Not real champion."
Will: "When can we expect an update / re-write of your best selling book?"
Ajarn Panya: "Yes, soon I want to write my book again when I have time from my work with S.A.T. in Bangkok and new gym with my student in Ireland, and help with you."

Dorlan stole the show as he attacked the legs "Muay Thai style" and dropped his opponent in the 1st round with a massive low kick. When Cornwall got back to his feet, O'Malley landed a roundhouse kick that broke 3 ribs and ended the fight.

Results: Watt wins with 4th round TKO in $$ Rematch
Watt showed he was the better fighter for the 2nd time in a fight where experience and heart won over youth and speed. Watt is wily and has a lot of experience. Despite racking up points in the first two-rounds, Watt attacked his opponents legs and by the 4th round his speed was gone, his legs weary from attack, and Watt needed the fight as the refree had seen enough.

TMT trainer, Robert, will be gone on a 2 week leave as he heads to his hometown to get married. Robert will be returning in two weeks with his new wife and begin training and fighting again. From our many guests and friends, we wish Robert and his wife all the the best and happiness in their new life together.
Ngoo was the lone bright spot in an eveing of great fights @ Bangla Thai-Boxing Stadium. Em looked good in a hard fight, but after winning rounds 1-3, lost the momentum in 4th. In Muay Thai rules, the more important rounds are later in the fight. Allan returned to the ring for TMT and quickly established his hands and a strong jab, but all his work in Japan with Kid Yamamoto and other K1 fighters didn't help as Allan took several hard elbows and the ref stopped the fight in the 4th round. Nazee returned to ring for the 2nd time in 5 days despite being injured. The fight which went the entire 5 rounds was a war. However, Nazee's injury proved too much as his opponent won the battles of knees racking up points. It was a valiant effort for Nazee, but ended with a points loss. This was Nazee's first loss in 15 fights dating back to 2005. Nazee had to go the hospital after the fight to treat a torn pectoral muscle which will sideline him for the next 2+ months.
TMT Phuket pulls half the fight card @ Bangla Stadium on November 7, 2006 as guest Allan, and trainers Em, Ngoo, and Nazee have MT fights. The crew headed down to Wat Chalong, one of the most important temples in Thailand, for a Mongkong blessing and to make merit before their fight tonight.

Win some...lose some. That is the fight game. Robert looked good and was winning easily until and elbow to the skull opened a 12 stitch cut. Robert fought on as the blood poured down his face. Prathet was stopped in the 4th round with a lackluster performance in a close fight.

It was a 2-0 evening on November 2, 2006 @ PatongMuay Thai stadium. Nazee and Chamnahn racked up points wins. Nazee scored a unanimous decision in a boxing match over skilled Thai fighter Kongthorani. Chamnahn scored a points win over a younger and stronger fighter using technique and experience.

TMT Phuket would like to Thank Paule Marchant "London Thai Fighters and Peacock Gym London" for coming and spending nearly a month @ the camp with our guests and trainers. Paule is an oustanding coach and worked with our trainers, fighters and guests. Paule's knowledge of the fight game and his no-nonsense teaching style make him one of the best in the sport. Our camp looks forward to working with Paule in the future as we plan on sending trainers and fighters to London to train and fight, and Paule has a crew of fcampion fighters that will be coming to TMT to teach the "Russian" or "Dutch" style of Muay Thai that has become so popular. Paule will be coming back next May-April with some of his fighters who will be competing in Phuket and training @ the camp.
Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Training camp would like to welcome Lance Freimuth as part of our TMT MMA training crew for the next 3 months and working his striking game in the Muay Thai program. Beach Workout @ Nai Harn |
Training on the Beach |
It was an exciting morning of training as the crew and guests headed down to beautiful Nai Harn Beach for a training session. Sprints, group training, pads, and drills were the recipe for the day. After workout, it was a relaxing swim in the crystal blue waters of Nai Harn bay and an ice cold coconut to beat the heat.
TMT was supposed to have 3 fights on the card, but due to a nasty cut to his eyebrow in training, Gaz had to reschedule his fight for next month. Em's opponent was pulled from the fight. Ngoo delivered another points win and continues to fight every 2 weeks.

Em (Suabin) and Ngoo chalked up a pair of KO wins @ Bangla Stadium on October 10, 2006. Em continued his winning streak @ 6 fights, and Ngoo got back on track after being fouled in his last fight.

Join us as we say goodbye to Ric who has been an outstanding guest, training hard, and coming away with some real experience and Muay Thai skills. It has been a pleasure having someone like Ric @ the camp. Ric will be entering the U.K. Police force on return and has spent the last 2 months getting fit and kicking ass.
It was a ot of fun @ Ric's going away party. Nazee broke out the guitar, Will made some K.O. Punch and ladies brought in the food. You could never tell it was raining. Check out the England shirts Ric bought Ngoo and Robert. Good time and good friends.

It was another great night of Muay Thai fights @ Bangla Stadium, patong Thailand, October 6, 2006. Tiger Muay Thai had two fighters on the card as Em (Suabin) and Ngoo each had wins. Em used his supior technique and speed to score a 2nd round KO, and Ngoo returned from the foul he suffered in his last fight to score a points win.

TMT Phuket would like to thank Jess Liaudin, Harry, Dean, and Ashleigh of Pancrase London and The U.K.'s #1 MMA fight Magazine "Fighter's Only" for the awesome article in this month's edition. The article covers the Pancrase Crews trip to Thailand and training @ TMT. It was difficult with the training bar being so high because of skill level of the Pancrase London instructors, but TMT is dedicated to bringing in high level trainers( like Jess and his asst. instructors) to promote our program.
The future looks bright for our MMA program. Gax Roriston has really put his stamp on the program with high intensity workouts and Daniel has the ground training covered with his submission grappling and BJJ. Alex Reid is heading back in November and is working the lines in U.K @ London Shootfighters for more instructors who want to come and train Muay Thai @ our training camp and train in the MMA program.
We have a new cage under construction designed to meet the professional and safety needs of our guests and fighters. We have nearly 100 sq. mt. of mats going in for rolling and Jiu-Jitsu and are adding new training stations for our MMA program.
TMT Phuket welcomes U.K. (London Thai Fighters and Peacock Gym) professional Boxing coach, Paule Marchant for boxing seminars in October and January. Paule will hold training sessions in boxing for our guests and trainers and students of his own from U.K. Boxing is extremely important in the development of a good Thai or MMA fighter.

Kaz trained for his first Muay Thai fight against Phuket Circuit fighter, Daem, and scored a big upset as Kaz came out like a true MT fighter and believed in his training. Kaz started out scoring with low kicks and combinations, using his long jab to work his way inside the guard of the Thai. By the 3rd round the elbows were flying from both fighters. Kaz took some serious shots, but merely shrugged off the shots and kept coming forward. When the Thai began to tire from the constant attack, Kaz started using the power knees trading the Thai shot for shot. When his opponents hands started to fall, Kaz stepped in with some hard combos that ended the fight.

TMT trainer, Prathet, defended his Bangla title for the 4th time with a 4th round KO in the big money (30,000 baht) money fight on October 7, 2006 @ Bangla Stadium, Patong, Thailand. Prathet dominated the fight scoring with big leg kicks in the first two-rounds then taking his opponent out with his superior hand speed and combinations. It was the 1-3-5-2 combo that droipped the Thai in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

It is going to be a great night of fights on October 5, 2006 @ patong Stadium. TMT Phuket trainers, Chamnahn will fight against a foreign fighter from a camp in Thalong, and Ngoo will face off against a Thai opponent.

Tiger Muay Thai fighter, Nong Champ, avenged his first loss with a 2nd round KO over his Thai opponent @ Patong Stadium. Champ has really improved his kicks, and being a taller than average Thai fighter, Champ is able to genetate some serious power with his kicks. His big kicks brought his opponents hands down and Champ stepped in with big combo dropping the Thai with the left hook.

Whenever you are #1, people will always come gunning for you. That was the case last night, September 26 @ Bangla Stadium, Patong, Thailand. Nazee is 10-0 in last 10 fights with 9 KO's. Hungry for a shot @ the champ, a young Thai fighter, Thansin, got his chance. Nazee opened up a 12 stitch cut to his oppoenets lip in 1st round and then floored the young fighter in the 2nd with a pair of elbows that required smelling salts to get the lad off the canvas.

TMT guest Aliza will step into the ring for the first time after training for 2 months @ the camp. Aliza has worked hard with Kroo Aeg and Master Instructor, Ajarn Mac to prepare for her fight. Aliza has good conditioning and has worked hard on her kicks, elbows, and knees. This is first of several women's Muay Thai fights for TMT in the next 2 months as Jess returns to the ring and guest, Rachelle, begins training for her first fight.
Eli looke sharp early relying on her training and using basic techniques to her advantage. But late in the 3rd round, Eli caught a elbow that opened up her forehead. Despite a bad ciut and lots of blood, Eli dug in and fought on. Roongthips experience with +10 fights looked to be the edge as she was the aggressor.

Despite being shorter and smaller, a distinct handicap in a Muay Thai fight, Ngoo put on a scoring performance and left with the win and a big black eye. It was a twin pair of KO's for Tiger Muay Thai guest, Chelsea, and TMT fighter Champ @ Patong Stadium last night. Champ started the evening off with a 1st round KO. Champ looked much better than his first fight thanks to Kroo Yod. Champ launched a series of attacks and stayed on the offensive for most of the fight. It was a series of elbows and a hard kick to the liver that dropped the other Thai fighter.

Chelsea looked great in her Muay Thai debut. From the opening bell, Chelsea showed solid technique mixing legs and hand for some solid combinations. Her defense was good as she had no problem checking kicks and firing back her own in traditional Thai style fighting.

The night was great fun and was nice to see some friends. Longtime Phuket resident and Karon Tour Operator, Jesse was there. Patron and friend of the camp, Wardy "Fireball" was gladly back and having a good time. We also welcomed as Guest referee, BJJ Instructor and Muay Thai phenom Adam Kayoom. Adam is the former head instructor of the Bangkok Fight Club.
It was a 1-for-1 evening @ Bangla Stadium last night as Thai trainer, Em, looked good in a points win over a Thai fighter from Surat. Darron's fight was stopped in the 4th by referee after Darron had trouble defending hard knees by his opponent and was behind on points. This was Darrons first loss in 3 fights, and despite losing to a better fighter, Darron looked better than in his previous 2 fights showing solid combinations with hands and strong leg kicks.

Darron will compete in his 3rd fight for our training camp on April 26 @ Bangla Stadium in Patong. Darron won his first 2 fights by KO and the level of competition is going up in this fight. darron has worked hard with Kroo Yod and Dune and has shown some serious improvement in technique and footwork. darron has good hands and knows how to "throw the leather" and now he has some skills with knees and elbows as well.

TMT guest, Ken put in a solid performance in fighting style with a 3rd round KO over his Thai opponent @ Bangla stadium, Patong, Thailand. From the opening bell, Ken took control of the fight scoring with hand and mixed attack combinations. Moving well around the ring, he set up his Thai opponent with low leg kicks and then come in high with blazing combinations to the head.
The experienced Thai fighter scored with some leg kicks and fought hard in the clinch, but Ken worked his game plan to perfection almost scoring at will. By the 3rd round, the Thai was not tired but was perplexed by Ken's strikes which came from all angles. A series of hard clinch knees driven to the midsection and chin dropped the Thai midway through the 3rd round and he was unable to rise to the count.

After a day of watching Muay Thai fights @ local Chalong festival, we all returned to camp and feasted on the BBQ. Jakob, Peter, Willie, Steve, and Mickey: beer, pork ribs, and watermelon. Are you sure we are in Thailand? |
It was a wonderful day to celebrate the Thai New Year and Songkran Water Festival @ our camp. Not a cloud in the sky. The festivities started around 10:00 a.m. as guests started showing up, most of them already soaked from head-to-toe. J.P. and Brittany arrived already wet and covered with powder after walking to the camp.
It was a day of Thai fights, as Em, who has returned to the camp. We all missed him and was glad he returned. Em fought at the Chalong Festival as the guests from the gym rode up in Will's 4 X 4 throwing ice water @ everyone and cheered Em on in his fight.
The BBQ started around 6:00 p.m. and went on most of the night as we all feasted on BBQ pork, chicken, Thai food, and plenty of drink. There was Thai singing, baseball, football, takraw (Thai game) and of course, everyone soaking everyone with cold water. It was a great day @ the camp and a lot of fun for everyone.
Songkran is the celebration of the tradition of the old Thai New Year. Thai Buddhists will visit the temple (Wat) and engage in the Rod Nam Dam Nua ceremony. Thai Buddhists will sprinkle and drop water on the Buddha images and statues, hands of the monks and acolytes at the temple. The offering of water is to show confidence and respect that there will be rains and water enough to last the dry season and see the crops of Thailand, so important to the Thai people, grow and and turn the land beautiful and green again.
Songkran is the time when all Thai families try to be together, and many people will travel back to their home village to celebrate and spend this time with loved ones. The concept of the family and a child's duty to his family and parents is highly regarded and respected tradition of Thai culture.
The Songkran festival and holiday has now become secularized, with party and merrymaking taking to the streets. Throwing water at each other, using squirt guns and water cannons, or even just a hose or cup of water. Talcum powder is also used an is mixed with the water and may be daubed and patted on your face and body as gesture of friendship and kindness for the coming new Thai year. Take it all in good spirit and have fun, it is a day of celebration and respect for the wonderful Thai culture and people we love so much as foreigners here on their island.

Advanced Trainer Berm returned to the ring for the first time in years to score a 4th round KO over his opponent, a large S. Korean. Berm dominated the fight with his hard leg kicks. In the 2nd round, Berm dropped the Korean to the mat with a high kick into the side of the head.
The referee almost stopped the fight, but let it continue. Berm continued to dominate when in the 4th round another leg kick to the side of the neck sent the big man to the canvas for good. Thanks to all the guests and friends of the camp that came to cheer on Kroo Berm.

Sawasdee,
It is a sad day @ TMT Phuket as we have to bid life's farewell to longtime camp guest and friend, Henry Davis.
Henry was one of the very first guests we had @ the camp. I remember the day he walked into the camp with the warm smile he seemed to always carry on his face that went hand and hand with his genuine personality and charm. At 40 years of age, Henry was tough as nails with a chiseled body, but he had a gentle heart filled with compassion and kindness.
![]() |
![]() |
Henry was a fighter and adventurer at heart. A New Zealander with Maori blood and a heart of gold, He loved learning Muay Thai and fighting, he loved racing his bikes, and he spoke often of his love for his family. Henry had real character. He was the kind of person that when you looked at him and heard him speak, you knew you were hearing the truth despite his soft voice.
I remember the look of terror in the eyes of the first Thai fighter Henry fought at Saphan Hin in Phuket. Henry came out and stunned the crowd and the Thai fighter with his traditional Maouri War chant. He was so full of life he inspired those around him. He will be missed by the many people here in Phuket that were lucky enough to have met him and called him friend.
I do not know all the details, but Henry died in a motorcycle accident in his beloved home of New Zealand. He visited the camp just last month and introduced me to his son, a fine young man with his father's good looks and strong chin. He said he would come back and train again. He left like he arrived, with a smile on his face. That is the way I will always remember him.
From all the staff and friends @ Tiger Muay Thai, our condolences to Henry's wife and children, family, and friends.

He wanted a boxing match....so we gave him one. Trainer Nazee didn't need legs or elbows to dispatch his opponent, Jason, who said this was a revenge match for Nazee Ko'ing a friend of his last month. Thai people leave the talking for the ring and Nazee did just that dropping Jason before he even worked up a sweat.
Technically, Nazee moved away from the 20+ kilo advantage Jason had over him and waited for Jason to lumber in and try and overpower Nazee because of his smaller size. Jason tried to trap Nazee in the corner and throw some bombs, but Nazee, like a skilled fighter, spun Jason around and stepped to the side keeping his jab at distance. Jason tried to "water buffalo" his way with his hands high and pushing the action into trapping Nazee again, but a solid left-right buckled Jason's knees and a solid right dropped him to the canvas in a daze and he failed to reach his feet again. Bom was asked by a promoter to take the fight which will be popular among Thai nationals as a Thai is fighting a Burmese, which traditionally, have bad blood and feelings. Looks to be an exciting fight with plenty of betting going on in the stands.

Tiger Muay Thai @ MMA sponsored Phuket's 1st MMA event @ Bangla Stadium last night. TMT guests Will and Allan trained and fought in the event. It was an exciting fight from the bell. The fighters threw hard shots and then clinched inside both grappling for position and firing knees to the midsection. Allan seemed to be in position with a good throw taking Will to the canvas, but Will turned the throw and rolled into a perfect mount position.
With his heels hooked into Allan's legs and holding position, Will let loose with a series of hard punches to the face and head of Allan. J.P, who refereed the fight, was ready to stop the fight after Allan took several hard shots to the head, but Allan escaped with a great move and got back to his feet as the crowd cheered.
Will quickly went for a shoot on Allan and came down to the mat with a reverse frontal guillotine choke. Allan tried to roll out of the submission hold but Will locked it in and Allan was forced to Tap-Out and submit.

As I sat at the stadium last night watching the fight, the atmosphere about Bangla Muay Thai Stadium was fevered and hot like the weather. No knockouts so far, you could tell the people were looking for a good fight to end the evening. But as I sat there filming, I wondered if the tourists @ the stadium really understood what was happening in the ring.
![]() |
What most tourists didn't understand was this was two-former high-ranked Thai champions that had been fighting their whole lives. A combined 500+ Muay Thai fights between the two opponents. Dton, Tiger Muay Thai trainer and former champion at 3 different weight levels started fighting when he was 10-years old. His opponent and equal number of years and battles in the ring. The fighters had met once before in their prime. Dton admitting the first fight was tough as he edged out a points victory more than a decade ago on the hallowed ground of Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
![]() |
Now they meet again, here in Phuket. The crowd mostly foreigners now, the combatants a little wiser and ring savvy. It was a war from the opening bell. I have watched many a Muay Thai fight here in Thailand, and this was one of the best. Classic and traditional Muay Thai techniques out of the books. Good boxing and kicking. Hard knees and slashing elbows. Dton delivered an elbow early in the first round looking to stop the fight quick, but despite the 2 cm gash along his temple, his opponent pushed forward like a wounded Rhino, his hands and elbows out front in a classic Thai defensive stance waiting for Dton's charge.
Both fighters were hurt. Both fighters came back. Dton hammered his opponent with overhand rights and uppercuts as he would feint his way into position. Dton peppered his opponents ribs with quick kicks and tip-front kicks. His opponent fired back elbows and crushing leg kicks that sent Dton into the ropes. Each round both fighters came out for more, the pace quickening rather than weakening. In the end, someone has to lose a close fight. Dton was on the losing end this time. He won their first fight. How about a re-match?

BBQ-Party @ Camp was a lot of fun as we all filled up on BBQ and beer and good times.....and more to come. |
It was a great time all-around. From Dton's guitar and singing, the Vodka-Spiked watermelons were a big hit. It was good to see some old-friends of the gym; Rey, Marcus, and Olaf. The Hooter's style Chicken Wings were devoured....has anybody seen Yod. J.P actually stayed up past 8:00 p.m. Tom and Bridgetta were the best dressed of the evening. Will was the worst dressed....he just couldn't cook all that BBQ without spilling some on himself. The passed out way too quick award goes to Jaeb. How many Bacardi Breezers did you drink? Cheers ALL.

It was tough night for camp fighter, Robere, as he lost a tough points decision @ Patong Stadium for the Patong (84 kilo) Title. Robere had trained hard for the fight w/ WKL World Muay Thai Champion Blake "The Blade" Lirette and Kroo Yod and Bom. Robere had asked for a delay due to illness , but the promoter did not have time to find a replacement, so Robere accepted. Despite being dehydrated and weak, Robere fought a solid fight scoring with high leg kicks and knees. His Thai opponent, Namchang, however looked good and scored repeatedly with tip kicks keeping the stronger Robere away. Judges called it 49-47 across the board.
The loss now creates some controversy in Robere's (3) fight series. He may have to face Namchang again before moving on to the Title fight. Robere will also have to win his next 2 fights before he may be granted a rematch.

Tiger Muay Thai & MMA guest, Allan, fought an incredible fight Tuesday night, March 7, @ Bangla Muay Thai Stadium. Allan took on a former Lumpinee champion, Chaiyin, for the AMCO 180 pound title. Early on, Chaiyin attacked Allan's legs with hard leg kicks, but like most opponents, found it hard to get inside Allan's reach with his hands.
The first 2 rounds were back and forth. Chaiyin delivering hard, chopping leg kicks and Allan countering with kicks and straight rights. Allan connected with a few hard shots in the 3rd round and each fighter began to slow from the fast pace.
In the 4th round, Allan showed a lot of heart. Hurting from the viscous leg kicks, Allan stepped up his game and took the fight to his Thai opponent. With a barrage of combinations, leg kicks, and finally throwing his opponent, Chaiyin, to the ground where he failed to stand after a 10 count.

Ngoo's opponent came out hard and controlled the beginning of the fight landing hard leg kicks and looping overhand punches. In the 2nd round, Ngoo got hit with a overhand right dropping him to the canvas. The referee appeared ready to stop the fight, but before the referee could react, Ngoo jumped back to his feet, put up his gloves and said he was ready for some more.
Ngoo battled back and was swarmed in his corner between rounds, Both head trainers, Dton and Bom, coached Ngoo about the his opponent dropping his hands after the big overhand shots. Bom told Ngoo to let loose with twin elbows after his opponent fired the overhand. Ngoo showed tremendous heart in the 3rd. round and took the fight to his opponent. Midway through the round, his opponent dropped his hand after a looping overhand and Ngoo slid between the gloves and landed a viscous elbow that dropped the fighter to the canvas cold with a KO.
