Our Muay Thai beginners program is open to training camp guests with little or no previous experience in Muay Thai and other Martial Arts, such as boxing. This program is directed and organized to teach the basics and building blocks of good Muay Thai and Boxing technique.

We offer our guests at Tiger Muay Thai a complete Muay Thai beginners program directed by our Master Instructor Ajarn Mac and Kru Rose. Ajarn Mac has trained hundreds of young Muay Thai fighters into contenders and champions at some of the best Muay Thai gyms in Thailand. Tiger Muay Thai Training Camp guests can learn Muay Thai with a true Master Instructor helping you learn how to punch, kick, learn balance, rythem, speed, and power as you experience real Muay Thai for the first time.

Yoga: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
The morning begins at 7:00 a.m. with an hour of yoga on the mats with our training camp yoga instructor. Yoga is a geat way to increase flexibility and prevent injury while training. Guests are welcome to do yoga for 1/2 hour and then join running program or technique class @ 7:30 a.m.
Running Program / Technique Class 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
The running program and Muay Thai technique class with the Tiger Muay Thai trainers begins @ 7:30 a.m.
Running Program: Tiger Muay Thai trainers leave the camp @ 7:30 a.m. each morning for a variety of runs from 2-5 km including sprints and mountain runs. Running is an excellent way to increase endurance and cardio / stamina. A Thai fighter in training for a Muay Thai fight will often run 10+ kilometers a day, usually in the moring when it is not as hot.
Technique Class: Our Muay Thai and boxing technique classes offer our guests to learn in a relaxed environment and covers all aspects of Muay Thai training from basic muay thai techniques to advanced training techniques including offense, defense, footwork, balance, how to generate speed and power,and more. Learn the core Muay Thai structure and essential techniques of good Muay Thai and Boxing.
Warm-Up: Stretching / Shadow Boxing / Skip Rope 8:00 a.m.- 8:30 a.m.
From 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. guests will warm-up by stretching, shadow boxing, and skipping rope. At the end, the trainers will begin helping guests wrap their hands and get ready for Muay Thai bag and Muay Thai / Boxing pad training.
Muay Thai Bag / Pads / Drills Training: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
During the main 2-hour training period, guests will follow a weekly program schedule that will provide 3-5 rounds on different bags, 3 rounds on pads with trainer, and 3-5 rounds doing Muay Thai drills and skills in groups with trainers and other guests.
Sparring: Muay Thai & Boxing
Monday - Wednesday - Friday
Sparring is an important part of Muay Thai and Thai-boxing training. On M-W-F, Tiger Muay Thai trainers direct sparring with guests from 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. Sparring is completely voluntary and helps guests bring all of the training and skills together in the ring against a real opponent. Sparring is done at 75% speed and power and really improves a guests ability to understand Muay Thai as a fight sport.
Cool Down: 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Stretch - Relax - Cool Down - Rehydrate
Guests are welcome to work free weights and lifting into their training program. Tiger Muay Thai has a complete set of dumbbells in each training area and a full weight lifting area with 2 olympic benches, pull down multi-machines, squat rack, exercise bikes and more available to all our guests.
