England’s own Danny Mitchell is set to make his UFC debut in 2014.
Five years after his professional MMA debut, Mitchell has signed a deal with the UFC and is set to enter the Octagon for the first time on March 8 at The O2 Arena in London, England, in a welterweight bout against Igor Araujo.
Mitchell and Igor Araujo are both BJJ Black Belts so hey should be equal if the fight hits the mat.
Mitchell (14-4-1) enters the cage following a second-round submission victory over UFC veteran Besam Yousef at Superior Challenge in Sweden.
UFC’s next card in England will be headlined by the light heavyweight showdown featuring Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa.
