Twenty-one year old Cho is happy to wrap up his nine week stay at Tiger with a TKO, moving his Muay Thai record to 2-2. It’s an experience he would have been hard-pressed to imagine when he first came to Tiger straight out of highschool three years ago.

“Last time I kind of just ran away and left a note for my family,” chuckles the self-described “broke entrepreneur” from Atlanta, Georgia. “They thought I was crazy, but now they’re proud of me.”

Cho scored a nasty elbow in the first round that left him with seven stitches. He managed, however, to push through to the second round where a solid left knee followed by several punches sealed the deal against his opponent.

“It’s only a cut,” explains the fighter who plans on returning sometime this year. “It’s worth the stitches every time!”

TMT professional fighter, Rafael Pinto AKA The Brazilian Killer, was up next and he didn’t leave his fans disappointed.

The Brazilian grabbed a second round knock out thanks to some very heavy punches, moving his record to 12-4.

“I just cannot have any other job than fighting,” explains the Jui-Jitsu brown belt who’s been in Thailand for close to two years. “I can’t sit in an office all day. I don’t know what my motivation is. This is just what I like to do.”

Pinto plans on expanding into MMA and hopes to be ready for his first fight within three months.

Although his French opponent, Manu, landed a strong elbow cutting his head in the first, MacKinnon applied so much pressure in the second that the other fighter simply couldn’t carry on.

“My plan was to come out nice and slow, but he set a fast pace,” explained MacKinnon who used to work as a mechanic in Scotland. “Near the end of the first round and I could see him getting tired. In the second I landed some good shots that were simply too much for him. To be honest, the victory was more satisfying for me knowing that he had to quit.”

The win moves MacKinnon’s record to 9-1 – something he attributes to his excellent training at Tiger.

“The level of training here is unbeatable. It’s an individual sport when you’re in the ring, but you need a team to get you ready for it. Tiger’s that team.”

Not so lucky in last night’s battle was TMT fighter Jimmy Allan Irvine. He took a strong knee just above the groin, followed by a knee to the face during the third. Opponent Richie Green took the TKO, but Irvine kept up his optimism.

“It’s back to training,” said the fighter shortly after his finish. “I’ll get my fitness better and just work on technique.”

The personal protection security guard from England came to Tiger six months ago for a new lease on life.

“I came to Tiger to take on something new,” explained Bailey, who has had three MMA smoker fights. “I had no previous fight experience before this but I absolutely love it. Hopefully I can make the fight team one day.”

She will be taking a week off over the holidays to get back into the swing of things after a bad cold.

The New Zealand beauty took the decision win against Camilla Moberg of Sweden with her usual mix of sexy and cool.

“It was a thrill,” exclaimed the fighter, who has been at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand since August. “I remember giving my friends one last look before it started and that was it. The rest is blank.”

Born with a natural athletic ability, the professional rower has competed on both national and international levels – even earning a spot on next year’s olympic team which she subsequently turned down.

“I had to find my passion and love for the sport of rowing again,” explains Fabian who has been living in Sydney, Australia for the past five years. “I came here to get into the best shape of my life and to work towards the 2016 Olympics.”

It seems, however, that she may have fallen in-love with a new sport instead.

“I can’t believe I did it! Just getting in there was such a huge accomplishment for me. I’m so proud of myself.”

Up next was Piril Vårdal of Norway. Although he came off a first round TKO from his last fight in November, he lost an impressive fight to a decision. The fighter will head home for the holidays and return next year in hopes of a rematch.

Rounding out the evening was Jamie Davis who took at fourth round TKO in front of his mom, Naomi.

“That made is all the more nerve-wracking,” explained the 21 year-old from England. “I refuse to lose with her watching!”

Although he took a nasty elbow to the head, Davis kept up the jabs and leg kicks until his opponent Munilnoi couldn’t take anymore.

“Winning is the most amazing feeling I’ve ever felt before,” gushed the fighter, who is here for six months. “The confidence fighting gives you is just amazing.”

“I saw that he was much bigger than me so I had to move a lot,” explains Schmid, whose last two fights ended in first round knockouts against smaller opponents. “In the end I was just faster. In the second I used my elbows and cut him open so they stopped the fight.”

TMT fighter Ty Kelly of Australia found himself in a much different situation. After an intense five rounds involving many heavy leg kicks, he lost to a decision.

While Kelly returns to the Sunshine Coast in January, Schmid has no plans on leaving.

“I’ll fight until they stop giving me fights.”

After dropping back to back decision defeats for the ZUFFA owned Strikeforce organization, Joe Ray was in need of a win. Fighting in one of the Superfights for the Florida Art of Fighting MMA event, Joe Ray showed everyone his power by picking up the quick first round KO against Levi Lalonde.

Improving his professional record to 6-3, look for Joe Ray to pick up a few wins on the smaller promotions before looking to get the call from UFC and ZUFFA again.

Fighting is a long way from his finance background in Germany, but Heller wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I just wanted to fight Muay Thai once,” he says. “When I stepped into the ring I wasn’t even thinking about anything. My mind just went blank.”

Four and a half weeks of private sessions with TMT trainers Aon and Nong soon kicked in and sent Heller on his way.

“During the second round I hurt my foot. In the third I eventually got him with a lot of hook shots and finally knocked him out with a left hook and a knee combo.”

Training wraps up for Heller today as he flies back to his new home in America with his girlfriend Marina.
