Tiger Muay Thai fighters continue streak with 5-0 nights in Patong
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand fighters continued their winning streak adding 5 wins over two nights in Patong on Jan 24 + 25, 2011.
Matthew from USA started the night out with a sweet 2nd round KO followed by Justin from Australia who scored a 1st round KO.
On the 25th. Phillip from New Zealand scored a 2nd round knockout and Samson continued his win streak with another 5 round points Thai boxing win.
In the last fight of the evening, Merina won a five round decision against her Thai boxing opponent.
Tiger Muay Thai offers more than 20-30 fighters each month the ability to compete in a full rules Muay Thai fight.

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA fighters roll to 8 straight wins
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand fighters rolled to eight straight wins over the last three nights of Thai boxing fights in Patong, Phuket, Thailand.
Anna (Sweden) and TMT fighter Samson started off the steak with a pair of points wins on January 12, 2011.
Aurore followed with a 4th round TKO after cutting her opponent and Palangphet ended the eveing at Patong Thai boxing stadium with another points win over five rounds on 16th of January.
Federico and Ralph followed with a pair of KO’s on the 17th of January as federico scored a KO in the second round while Ralph KO’ed his opponent in his first Muay Thai fight in the first round.
And on January 21, Dalia scored a points win while Walker scored a second-round knockout lifting TMT to 8 straight wins and 9-1 over our last 10 fights.

TMT’s Tuptim survives 18-hour surgery with long recovery ahead
The 8-month-old daughter of Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Thai boxing trainer Rattanachai, Tuptim has survived her 18-hour long surgery with her mother at Ramathibodi Hospital in Bangkok.
Tuptim and her mother are in stable condition after the exhaustingly long surgery for such a young girl that has shown the strength and courage of a seasoned Muay Thai fighter just like her Muay Thai champion father.
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA wants to thank each and every person that helped in any and every way to give Tuptim the funds needed to perform such a difficult operation.
We would especially like to thank UFC president Dana White who stepped forward when he heard of the story of Tuptim and donated the $50,000 needed for the operation.

UFC Fighter and TUF Coach Cyrille ‘Snake’ Diabate training at Tiger Muay Thai for the next 3 weeks
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand would like to welcome French Kickboxing legend Cyrille ‘Snake’ Diabate to the Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket training camp for the next 3 weeks. Cyrille, an established legend in Kickboxing with several notable wins; including an impressive TKO performance against World Champion Rick Rofous, has focused his attention to competing in MMA.
After a stint on the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter Season 9 as a Muay Thai coach for Dan Henderson’s team USA, Diabate was signed to a fight contract with the organization. 1-1 in the UFC, with an impressive TKO win against Luis Cane, his next bout will be against Steve Cantwell when the UFC returns to Versus network.
Joining Cyrille Diabate on the training trip to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket is French Grappling sensation and MMA Veteran Nayeb Hezam.

In the United States Claire Haigh continues to work as a Muay Thai and MMA fighter. Her current schedule training in USA with Muhsin Corbbrey in Atlanta, Claire will compete in upcoming National BJJ tournaments and has fights scheduled.

MMA Coach of the Year and Female fighter of the Year awards won by TMT Alumni Cat and Mauricio Zingano
Congratulations to Caique BJJ Black Belt Mauricio Zingano on recently being awarded ‘Coach of the Year’ for the MMA heavy state of Colorado. Mauricio runs the Zingano Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy and has several students who have been making a name for themselves within the sport of MMA and Grappling.
One of those students is fellow Tiger Muay Thai alumni and wife Cat Zingano. Cat is currently ranked top 5 in the world for females competing at 125lbs, after an impressive TKO performance against Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and former world #2 fighter Carina Damm.
Mauricio and Cat will be returning to Tiger Muay Thai in 2011, but have extended a friendly invitation to any of the Tiger Muay Thai alumni traveling through the states to check out their gyms in Colorado.
