Tiger Muay Thai alumni and Swedish Grappling Champion Mats Nilsson looks to move up the European rankings
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand alumni Mats Nilsson is a very accomplished Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt from Helsinborg, Sweden who just recently won the FILA World Grappling Championships at 84 kilos. Competing in MMA he has earned a 5-1-1 professional record and is considered a UFC Prospect when the Ultimate Fighting Championships head to Sweden later in 2011.
Looking to continue establishing himself as one of the top European MMA prospects currently not signed to a major organization, Mats will be facing #1 ranked German Middleweight Gregor Herb February 26th. After an extended training trip at Tiger Muay Thai, Mats will look to showcase his striking in a bout against two of the top grappling prospects in Europe.

Tiger Muay Thai Alumni Brian Ebersole gets the call to the UFC
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand Alumni Brian Ebersole, a veteran of over 60 professional MMA fights has been working towards his goal of fighting for the Ultimate Fighting Championship a long time. A former Team Captain for Frank Shamrock’s IFL team, Ebersole spent two months at Tiger Muay Thai assisting with coaching the MMA program and competing in a a professional Muay Thai fight.
Having on 12 of his last 13 MMA fights, including an impressive win over former UFC Welterweight Champion Carlos Newton, it is being reported that he has finally received the call for ‘The Big Show’.
The UFC will be heading to Australia for UFC 126 and a last minute injury to former WEC Champion Carlos Condit has reportedly given Brian Ebersole the opportunity to compete against Chris Lytle for the biggest Mixed Martial Arts Organization in the world, the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Brian will be returning to Tiger Muay Thai later in 2011 and has promised to conduct a wrestling clinic for the guest looking to improve their MMA take-downs.

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA welcomes Reality fighting and Mass Destruction veteran Fernando Perez
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand welcomes Peruvian, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt and MMA Fighter Fernando Perez to the facility. Fernando has fought professionally for Mass Destruction and Reality Combat which are two of the largest feeder shows for sending fighters into the UFC and is looking to compete in both MMA and Muay Thai while he is here in Thailand. Fernando is a person friend of General Manager Will Elliott and will be training at the camp for 2 months.

Tiger Muay Thai welcomes Russian World Combat Sambo vet. and Red Devil team member Vulc Silviu Dorin
Vulc Silviu Dorin is a Combat Sambo specialist from Russia who just arrived at the Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket Training facility last week with fellow training partner and Pancrase Japan fight Veteran Felipe Enomoto.
Silviu Vulc has an extensive MMA resume and competed as a member of the Red Devil team in the M-1Fedor Emelianenko Cup. Specializing in Sambo, Silviu has promised to work some foot lock submissions during a clinic Friday Feb. 11th at 4pm in the MMA area for the intermediate to advance training session.

Tiger Muay Thai sends Jonny Betts and Yodbuapet ‘KOK’ to fight at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok Thailand Feb. 19th
February 19th will be a big day for Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket as Jonny Betts (UK) and Yodbuapet ‘KOK’ both compete at the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium.
When Jonny Tiger Muay Thai steps into the ring to fight, he will become only the third foreigner ever to represent Tiger Muay Thai at the world renowned Lumpinee Stadium. Betts is well established in Muay Thai and is a veteran of both the Queen and King Cup Muay Thai events. He has been training under the tutelage of Master Gae and Goi for several years now, and is looking to continue establishing himself as one of the top foreigners fighting and living in Thailand.
16 year old Thai fighter Yodbuapet ‘Kok’ Tiger Muay Thai will be looking to rebound from his recent decision loss at Omnoi Stadium, a fight that was for the Championship belt in his weight division. Kok, the nephew of Champion trainer Kru Fasuchon, is a blue chip prospect who many people consider one of the top 16 year old Muay Thai fighters in the entire country of Thailand.
