Join us at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA for BBQ Beatdown 35, March 26, 2011

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand welcomes you to come join us for full moon party and BBQ Beatdown 35 on Saturday, March 26, 2011.

The day starts off with Muay Thai beach training in the morning and then in the afternoon a football game between trainers and guests.

In the evening, TMT features BBQ Beatdown 35 with all you can eat BBQ, beer, UFC preview, live music by DJ Tank and Thaitanium’s Vynal Abuser. At the BBQ will be Phuket’s Best TV and for entertainment we have a number of smoker fights in Muay Thai boxing, western boxing, MMA, and BJJ fights lined up.

Don’t miss one of the best nights of the month when Tiger Muay Thai and MMA celebrates with our full moon party and BBQ Beatdown.

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA welcomes 3X Golden Glove Champion Natalie Gray

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA welcomes 3X Golden Glove Champion Natalie Gray.

Gray has over 10 years worth of amateur boxing experience. Having captured the Colorado State Golden Gloves Championship 3 separate times, she was considered one of the top 5 amateur female boxing prospects in the United States at her weight division, and an Olympic hopeful.

Eventually putting her career on hold to pursue a degree in Law, she is 1-0 as a pro, but has had a 2 year layoff. Getting set to graduate from the Sturm College of Law, Natalie is looking at a return to boxing and is excited about pursuing the sport as a devoted professional.

Currently finishing a semester abroad, Natalie has been training in London under the world renowned John Rooney. When she returns to the United States in a few months, she will continue her training with legendary trainer Trevor Wittman of the Grudge training facility in Denver Colorado.

Trevor Wittman has worked with several notable fighters including; Duane Ludwig, Nate Marquart, Shane Carwin, and Elliott Marshall.

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA welcomes South African EFC Champion Wentzel Nel

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket has a strong following in South Africa. Besides being the home of K-1 hopeful and TMT fighter Don Madge, April 2nd and 3rd head BJJ Black Belt instructor Ray Elbe will be conducting a series of Seminars in Johannesburg. Promoting the seminar, Elbe was recently featured in the South African edition of Fighters Only Magazine.

Proving Tiger Muay Thai’s popularity in South Africa, Wentzel Nel, currently ranked as the #2 best lightweight in S.A. has headed to Phuket Thailand to train for his upcoming EFC Light Weight Championship defense. Wentzel is known for his agressive/unorthodox striking, and will be utilizing his training at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket to improve his technical strengths.

Tiger Muay Thai alumni Marcos Oliveira gets set to win the Abu Dhabi Fighting Championships MMA Tournament.

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket alumni Marcos Oliveira hasn’t lost an MMA fight since 2005 and is looking to continue that streak Friday, March 11th when he faces Russian Power house Shamil Abdurahimov in the finals of the Abu Dhabi Fighting Championships Heavyweight Tournament.

Oliveira already a World Champion Grappler with notable titles including; World Champion USA 2009, Pan American champion & Arnold World Classic champion USA, came to Tiger Muay Thai to focus on his Muay Thai in preparation for Shamil. While he was here he conducted a free grappling seminar for the guest of Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket.

Feeling that the coaching he was receiving under Kru Yod was World Class, Marcos hired Kru Yod to run the striking portion of his training camp back at the Abu Dhabi Combat Club facility (UAE) leading up to his Championship fight. Yod has spent the last 6 weeks overseeing Marcos’s daily striking regiment.

The winner of this bout will be awarded 1,000,000 Dirhams ($270,000) and the ADFC Title. With Notable wins against UFC Vets Neil Wain and Kevin Jordan, stopping Shamil Abdurahimov after witnessing him defeat Jeff Monson and Rameau Thjerry Sojoudjou should put him in the mix for a call from the UFC.

Tiger Muay Thai Alumni and World BJJ Champion Alberto Crane returns to KOTC

Alberto Crane is a former Light Weight World Champion for the King Of The Cage Organization, who after a brief run in the UFC is looking to capture his belt once again.

A World Champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Alberto Crane is currently 13-5 in MMA with his last win being an Impressive International win via foot lock submission.

Having spent time training at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand while vacationing in Phuket, Thailand for his honeymoon, Alberto Crane conducted a free seminar for the guest of Tiger Muay Thai, and worked his standup with several of the world champion trainers at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket.
