2010 FILA Grappling World Champion and TMT alumni wins MMA fight in Switzerland
Tiger Muay Thai Training camp, Phuket, Thailand and MMA Phuket alumni Mats Nilsson, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt was victorious in Geneva, Switzerland.
Coming off a hard fought decision win against Gregor Herb, Germanys no.1 ranked middleweight, back in February Nilsson went on to battle the no.1 ranked Greek middleweight – Niko Sokolis – at Swizz promotion “Strength and Honor” on April 30th.
Well aware of his opponents excellent Muay Thai skills Nilsson, a 2010 FILA Grappling World Champion, wasted no time in taking the fight to the ground. Following a big slam and some ground and pound he transitioned to a triangle choke and got the tap at 1:40 in to the first round.
With the win Mats improved his pro MMA record to 7-1-1 and got a shot at the promotions middleweight title in September.

MMA Superstar Roger Heurta gives MMA seminar Saturday May 14, 200
MMA and former UFC Superstar Roger “El Matador” Heurta will be giving a MMA seminar FREE to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand guests on Saturday May 14, 2011 in the MMA training program @ 1:00 p.m.
The seminar is open to Non-TMT guests at a price of 1500 baht.
Heurta, an 8X UFC fight veteran with more than 30 fights to his name is currently fighting for the Bellator promotion and recently starrred video game remake of Tekken.

VH1 X-life reality TV Star and Skateboard legend Pierre Luc Gagnon of the X-games trains at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket with Girlfriend Denise Russo
4x X-Games gold medalist and Skateboard legend Pierre Luc Gagnon will spend the next couple of weeks training Muay Thai at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket.
PLG competed at the Shanghai X-games last week, an event promoted by ESPN STAR Sports, that works very closely with the Martial Combat Fight Promotion that team TMT competes in.
Currently on VH1 Pierre Luc Gagnon and his girlfriend, fellow Tiger Muay Thai guest Denise Russo are starring in a reality TV show called ‘The X-life’ a reality show that focuses around the lives of Extreme Sports Athletes and their families.
The show focuses around PLG and Denise as well as, BMX rider Cory “Nasty” Nastazio and his girlfriend Nicole, motocross rider Jeremy ‘Twitch’ Stenberg and his wife Susie.
