Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket Veteran Joe Ray signs 4 fight Strikeforce deal

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand is proud to announce that American Top Team fighter and MMA Phuket alumni Joe Ray has signed a 4 fight contract with the ZUFFA owned Strikeforce promotion. Fighting for Strikeforce: on the Overeem vs. Werdum event taking place June 18 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Joe Ray’s bout will airs on HDNet, while the main card is shown on the Showtime Network.

Joe Ray is a multiple time guest of Tiger Muay Thai and went 2-0 fighting MMA for Tiger Muay Thai, with both wins coming on the Martial Combat promotion, broadcasted on the ESPN STAR Sports network to over 310 million homes in 24 countries.

Joe Ray, 5-1 as a pro will be facing Nah-Shon Burrell as he looks to move up the welterweight rankings.

K1 Max vet Heung Pak Wing return to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket to trian for ‘Thai Fight’ promotional debut

K1 Max veteran and WMC Champion Heung Pak Wing ‘The Hong Kong Bomber’ has returned to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket.

Having already used Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket as a training camp for himself, and several of his students, Pak Wing has returned to train under World Champion Master ‘Goi’ as he prepares for his July 17th ‘Thai Fight’ promotional debut.

With a strong showing in Hong Kong, rumors have been circulating that Heung Pak Wing’s next opponent will be non other than K1 legend and Thailand supperstar Buakaw Por Pamuk.

UFC Vet and TMT alumni Mike Ciesnolevicz wins via headkick KO in Canada

Congratulations to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand Alumni Mike C.

After an intense training camp at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket, Mike Ciesnolevicz has won 2 in a row, with his most recent victory coming against 50+ fight journeyman Bruce Nelson in Alberta Canada. Carrying his mismatched opponent into the 2nd round, Mike C. showcased his standup, landing a brutal head kick about a minute into the first round. Following his opponent to the canvas with punches, Mike forced Big John McCarthy to stop the action, giving Ciesnolevicz the win via TKO.

Look for Mike C. to return back to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket as he continues his return to the UFC LHW Division.

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp welcomes back Yoshi Hasegawa

Last year when Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp Phuket, Thailand’s head BJJ Instructor Magical Ray Elbe was promoted to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under his professor–Juliano Prado, several other black belts were in attendance for the belt promotion.

After witnessing Ray Elbe receive his black belt, Yoshi Hasegawa has returned to Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket. Currently on the island for a vacation, Yoshi will be stopping by the Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Phuket facility several times before heading back to his home gym in Japan.

Yoshi was promoted to BJJ Brown Belt in 2008 under Rey Diogo, before eventually receiving his black belt under Master Barbosa.
