TMT goes 2-1 @ Patong Stadium; Tanwa wins by TKO
Tiger Muay Thai fighters wemt 2-1 at Patong Stadium on August 21, 2008 as Ngoo and Tanwa rached up wins and Cyrus lost (Injured Knee) in an exciting night of fights.
Ngoo started the evening off looking for his 3rd win in-a-row facing younger and taller fighter from South Thailand. Ngoo looked good scoring with his elbow strikes and tip kicks to take the win over 5-rounds on points.

Tanwa came out strong looking to build on his win streak and opened a nasty cut to his Patong opponents forehead. Both fighters put on an excellent performance and won the “Fight of the Night” award from the promoter. The referee stopped the fight in the 4th round and Tanwa continued to work on his opponents cut and ahead on points.

Cyrus returned to ring looking to take on experienced veteran Tonphet. Cyrus was explosive early scoring with his hands and variety of fast head kicks, but late in the first Cyrus injures his left knee. Later in the 2nd round and not moving well, Cyrus takes several kicks to the knee before stopping at end of round two.

TMT Fighters go 1-1 @ Patong Stadium
It was a mixed results evening of fights for Matt and Robert Lek at Patong Stadium, August 18, 2008. Matt, fighting in his first Muay Thai fight took on a bigger skilled boxer as he faced another foreigner from France. Matt put up a good fight but got caught by two hard punches in 2nd round and stopped by referee as Matt was on his feet but still dazed.

Robert Lek looked good defeating his opponent from Patong using hsi superior speed and tip kicks to set up his power leg shots and solid jab. Robert Lek extends his win streak to 5-fights as he takes a points wins over 5-rounds. Robert looks to be getting a Patong Title shot next month.

Tiger Muay Thai fighters Chance, Anna, and Avied scored KO wins in their fights at Patong Stadium on August 14, 2008.

Chance, fighting in his first Muay Thai fight, showed a lot of heart as he poured on the power and won by TKO in the 3rd round after cutting his Thai opponet Morphee.

Anna won her 2nd fight for TMT, as she Ko’ed Pirrunoi in the 3rd round. Anna looked very technical and has made definte improvement in her technique.

Avied scored a 4th round elbow KO of Kong Jok after a hard first 3-rounds of fighting.

Night of Champions:featuring K1 Max Champion Buakaw Por-Pramuk

It was a night scheduled for 3 TMT fighters on August 11, 2008 @ Phuket’s famous Patong Stadium as Buakaw Por-Prauk put on a Ram Muay Wai Kru and Pad striking exhibition. However, one of the nights best fights, Veronika fighting for the WMPO World Title could not fight due to illness.

Ritt picked up the PK-1 title as he won a hard fought fight against his Thai rival that went back and forth for 5-rounds with Ritt taking the points decision.

Robert, scheduled to fight against European Muay Thai Champion from France had his fight changed to Yasothorn, an excellent young fighter from Bangkok. This may have ben the best fight of the night as Robert and Yasothorn went to war both delivering hard and powerful shots for 4-rounds sending both fighters down. But it was Yasothorn who scored better shots and in the 4th round the referee stopped the fight.
