Tiger Muay Thai goes 3-1 in Muay Thai fights @ Patong Stadium
Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp fighters win three and lose 1 @ Patong Stadium on January 12, 2009 as Chad and Chantal score KO wins, Veronica wins Patong Title on points, and Namphol loses on points.
Veronica turned on the power late in the 4th and 5th rounds to win the Patong championship title belt in a hard fight and continues her win streak to 5 fights. Veronika is going to take a 2 week training break and return to training and try to capture the Bangla Championship or a fight on Ko Samui.
Chad continues his unbeaten streak to 4-0 with another 1st round KO over a far more experienced fighter showing an MMA fighter with Muay Thai striking skills can do well in the Muay Thai ring.Chad is an explosive fighter that comes at his opponents from different angles scoring hard combinations and showing good Muay Thai technique.
Chantal scored a 1st round KO against a replacement opponent.Chantal is on an 7 fight win streak dating back past her World Title at the King’s Cup. She is looking at a fight against Rawai’s #1 female fighter Lindsay in february or March and a fight on Thai national television in Bangkok.
Namphol lost on points over 5-rounds in one of the evenings best fights

Nevertap “No Gi” Submission Grappling Tournament @ TMT Jan 17, 2009
The first ever “No Gi” submission grappling / BJJ tournament in Phuket will be held at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp on January 17, 2009.
For more information or registration please see www.nevertap.asia. The tournamnet will be hosted by UFC veteran Mike Swick and following the tournamnet will be award ceremony at BBQ Beatdown VI (Nevertap Edition) featuring several amateur and pro MMA fights.

Muay Siam Magazine and Siam Sport TV name Tiger Muay Thai #1 gym in Thailand
It was an honor indeed as the #1 recognized Muay Thai magazine in Thailand and the National Thai TV Show Siam Sport named Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp the best gym in Thailand.
In an interview two-weeks ago with owner William McNamara and Head training manager, Phet Chaimanee, with reporters and broadcasters from the magazine and TV show, TMT was named the best gym in Thailand. The reporters remarked on the natural setting, organization of training and schedule, and the professionalism and quality of our trainers.
It is an honor to be recognized as the #1 gym of so many good gyms in the country, nemely Fairtex, Sidyathong, Lanna, and others.

UFC’s Mike Swick spars Aussie WBO Boxing Champion Michael Katsidis at Tiger Muay Thai
Two fight sports collide in the ring as Ultimate Fighter and UFC MMA contender Mike Swick gies through a sparring session with Aussie WBO Boxing Champion Michael Katsidis at Tiger Muay thai and MMA training camp as each of the fighters prepare for their next big fights.
It was Mike “Quick” Swick sparring in Katdidis’ style as the fighters went a few rounds in boxing, then Mike Swick worked a few rounds on the heavy bag.

Tiger Muay Thai celebrates Staff party 2008 with BBQ and Gift exchange
It was a great 2008 and Tiger Muay Thai aand MMA training camp staff welcomed in 2009 with our annual staff party with a BBQ at the training camp and a raffle gift exchange.
We wish all our guests and staff a wonderful 2009 “Ckok Dee Bee Mai” and Happy New Year, and thanks for a great 2008.
