Tiger Muay Thai goes 1-1 @ Bangla Stadium

Namphon beats former Rajadamnoen ChampionTiger Muay Thai and MMA fighters went 1-1 in the Muay Thai ring on January 23, 2009 at Bangla Muay Thai Stadium, Patong, Phuket, Thailand. John (Ireland), who had been training hard the last month looked good early, but unfortunately threw a punch and dislocated his shoulder in the 2nd round.

Namphon won the biggest fight in Phuket knocking off former Rajadamnoen Champion. Namphon looked good throughout the fight using his height to his advanatage and turning on the power in the later rounds.

As you can see we have switch over to our new website! You should be able to find pretty much everything that was on the old site here, but in a brand new fine pare of pants!

The website is not done yer though, its still a ongoing project and we are going to keep adding stuff as we go along. In the meantime check out some of the new stuff;

We have a couple of know design issues when it comes to earlier versions of Internet Explorer. But it you find anything out of the ordinary, that look strange or that clearly doesn’t work as it should please send a e-mail the webmaster.

Tiger Muay Thai rolls to 4-0 @ Patong Stadium

dsc_2522Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training Camp, Phuket, Thailand fighters went 4-0 at Patong Stadium on January 15, 2009.

Peter,Brock and Tanwa all scored KO’s. Brock and Peter looked good against veteran fights in their first Muay Thai fights, while Tanwa took on former Tiger Muay Thai and MMA trainer Watt fighting for Cherng Talay gym and scored a 3rd round TKO after giving Watt a bad cut over his left eye.

dsc_2746Sonn won his 3rd fight in a row on points and continues to improve as a young Muay Thai fighter under the guidance of his cousin Kru Nazee. Not a btter trainer to learn from.

TMT posts 3 wins at Nai Harn Festival Muay Thai fights; Ngoo KO’s Sinbi fighter

dsc_1850Tiger Muay Thai fighters dominated the Muay Thai fights held at the Nai Harn Buddhist temple festival held last night in Nai Harn. TMT fighters went 3-0 as Jonny and Ngoo scored 2nd round KO’s and Khanit won a tough fight against a hard opponent on points over 5-rounds.

Jonny started the night with his 3rd straight win since his return from injury with a fantastic 2nd round KO with a knee to the chin of his bigger and more experienced Thai opponent. It was a tough first round, but Jonny stepped up his game going to his guns with a strong clinch and knee attack pulling his opponent’s head down and nailing him with a knee strike that left his opponent dazed forcing the referee to stop the fight.dsc_1860

Ngoo scored the KO of the night with a Muay thai kick to the jaw catching his opponent from Sinbi, another local camp, on the sweet spot and knocking him out completely. It looked to be a good Muay thai fight shaping up with the fighter from Korea until Ngoo landed the vcious kick that left the Sinbi fighter on the canvas for nearly 10 minutes.

dsc_2002Khanit rouned out the evening for the 3rd win for TMT in a pitched battle with a strong Muay Thai fighter. Khanit won on points over 5-rounds.

9 X UFC veteran Mike “Quick” Swick rolls with MMA Phuket Coach Ray Elbe

dsc_2410Both preparing for upcoming MMA fights, Mike “Quick” Swick, 9 X UFC fight veteran and 1st season Ultimate Fighter rolls No Gi submission Grappling and Ground-n-pound with MMA Phuket / Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp head coach Ray Elbe.

Swick is at TMT working his Muay Thai striking and is host of Tiger Muay Thai and MMA’s 1st Annual Nevertap Asia No Gi submission grappling / bjj tournament on january 17th, 2009.

Tiger Muay Thai goes 3-1 in Muay Thai fights @ Patong Stadium

Veronica wins Women’s Patong Championship Title belt

Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp fighters win three and lose 1 @ Patong Stadium on January 12, 2009 as Chad and Chantal score KO wins, Veronica wins Patong Title on points, and Namphol loses on points.

Veronica turned on the power late in the 4th and 5th rounds to win the Patong championship title belt in a hard fight and continues her win streak to 5 fights. Veronika is going to take a 2 week training break and return to training and try to capture the Bangla Championship or a fight on Ko Samui.

Chad delivers the KO shot

Chad continues his unbeaten streak to 4-0 with another 1st round KO over a far more experienced fighter showing an MMA fighter with Muay Thai striking skills can do well in the Muay Thai ring.Chad is an explosive fighter that comes at his opponents from different angles scoring hard combinations and showing good Muay Thai technique.

Chantal wins-7-in-a-row with 1st round KO

Chantal scored a 1st round KO against a replacement opponent.Chantal is on an 7 fight win streak dating back past her World Title at the King’s Cup. She is looking at a fight against Rawai’s #1 female fighter Lindsay in february or March and a fight on Thai national television in Bangkok.

Namphol lost on points over 5-rounds in one of the evenings best fights
